Mottled dots of golden light
Shimmer upon the grey
Scratched letters in plastic skins
Hatred embroidered bleeding hearts

Blue with black and cotton balls
Such is nature's plight
Combat Man's suffering
Mottled dots of golden light

Perfect Expressions

"Perfect poesy" came to mind as the title of this blog not only because of the poetry, but also through the expression of what "perfection" is. I think being "perfect" is not the ultimate best as compared to others, but for me it's about being true to myself; being authentic - by being genuine I think we can only be "perfect" because in expressing ALL our emotions, we are living life as "whole" beings. So my words are from the heart, and I try to really tap into my inner wisdom when I write - I practice "perfection" by allowing my feelings to be heard.

My Inspiration

I think LIFE inspires me, and I write my prose to get in touch with my emotions and express what I see. I've been sad, mad, happy, insane - all of these i try to put into words if i can.

Living in Melbourne, I take a lot of public transport, so I have a whole section dedicated to travel.

My wise voice also shares Truths at times, so I record that too in haiku format :)

With the poetry, I love the "found" poems; this style involves using phrases, songs, ideas of others combining them into a piece of flowing poetry. I also love my sonnets - they take such a long time to construct and so completing them is blissful. Now I am in awe of Shakespeare more than ever!

I started writing poetry at a very young age, and though most of my writings are lost in Time, I have uncovered a few (and keep finding more) which I've called my HISTORY poems. These I have placed in the correct spot in my chronological timeline, as you can see in "Versing History" to the left.
